February 19 & 21 Zagreb Croatia, concert and launch of the Croatian edition of Singing From the Soul . Warsaw Poland, charity concert in aid of leukemia patients. Carreras receives the Cross of the of the Order of Merit, one of the highest decorations bestowed by Poland, for his promotion of Polish culture and his support to leukemia patients.

February 23 Start of German Concert Tour in Saarbruecken. Further concerts have taken place on: February 25 in Siegen,
February 27 in Oberhausen, March 1 in Niedernhausen,
March 4 in Flensburg, March 6 in Stuttgart, March 9 in Munich.
March 11 Lausanne, Switzerland. Private charity concert at the Beau-Rivage Palace with Diva Opera in aid of The Solti Foundation and the José Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation in the presence of HRH The Duke of Kent.
