March 9 West Palm Beach, Florida - US tour begins with a recital in the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The performance was cut short with Carreras suffering from the effects of an allergy. However, he recovered for a concert in Miami, Florida at the Arsht Center with Cuban soprano, Elizabeth Caballero on March 13. In the photo (right), Carreras and Cabellero backstage at the concert. He went on to perform in Naples Florida at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts on March 15; Englewood, New Jersey at the Bergen Performing Arts Center on March 18; Morristown, New Jersey at the Mayo Center for the Perfoming Arts on March 20; Newport News, Virginia at the Ferguson Center For The Arts on March 24; and Marin, California at the Marin Civic Center on March 28. With exception of the Miami concert, all performances were piano/voice recitals with Lorenzo Bavaj.
